Sreenivasan came out praising Superstar Mohanlal
There is a buzz still doing its round in social media that Superstar Mohanlal and his colleague and friend Sreenivasan is not in good terms after the release of the film named Padmasree Dr. Saroj Kumar scripted by Sreenivasan. In that film Sreenivasan ridiculed and insulted super stars like Mohanlal and Mammootty and he attacked Mohanlal more. We still don’t know whether he had done it deliberately or not. But those who knows Mohanlal very well said that all that was said in the film was absolute rubbish and Sreenivasan just tried to defame Mohanlal.
Later Mohanlal said in a media interview that he had no problems with Sreenivasan and Sreenivasan is still a good friend of his. But Sreenivasan did not made any comment about that. Now, Sreeniivasan had come out praising Mohanlal and it seems that the ice between them is melting down in fast pace.
Sreenivasan said that Mohanlal had a great sense when it comes to cinema and as an artist his thought process is way better than that of many others in Malayalam Cinema. Sreenivasan said that if any one says that Mohanlal does not have an art sense, then he will give a slap on the face of that one who says it.
Sreenivasan said that he realized it when Mohanlal suggested Sangeetha to play the main lead in the film Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala directed by Sreenivasan. She got state award for her performance in that film and it was her performance that made the film such a beautiful one and also a big success. When many popular film makers like Sathyan Anthikkad and Priyadarshan failed to suggest one to play that character, Mohanlal suggested Sangeetha without any doubt. That itself shows his great sense as an artist and the far sightedness of Mohanlal.
Sreenivasan and Mohanlal is one of the most popular pair on screen here in Mollywood and Mohanlal is the one who acted as hero in most number of films scripted by Sreenivasan as well. Their characters Dasan and Vijayan are still the epic evergreen characters in Mollywood.
